In order to create a positive and enjoyable soccer experience for everyone involved, we ask all parents and players to adhere to the following Code of Conduct. By participating in our league, you agree to uphold these principles and contribute to a safe and respectful environment. Failure to adhere to the Code of Conduct will result in removal during practices or games.
Mission Statement:
"Empowering young players in soccer through positive coaching, player development, and a team-first mindset."
All Coaches are required to acknowledge our Code of Conduct Prior to the first team practice:
1. Positive Coaching: Coaches will maintain a positive and encouraging attitude towards all players, fostering a love for the game. Constructive feedback will be provided to players, emphasizing their strengths and areas for improvement.
2. Player Development: Coaches will prioritize the holistic development of each player, focusing on technical skills, sportsmanship, and personal growth. Equal playing time will be provided to all players, promoting fair and inclusive opportunities for development.
3. Team-First Mindset: Coaches will instill a sense of teamwork, emphasizing collaboration, respect, and unity among players. Decisions and strategies will be made with the best interests of the team in mind, rather than individual accomplishments.
4. Respect and Sportsmanship: Coaches will model respectful behavior towards players, parents, referees, and opposing teams. Sportsmanship will be prioritized, and coaches will encourage fair play and ethical conduct on and off the field.
5. Communication: Open and transparent communication will be maintained with players, parents, and fellow coaches. Concerns or issues will be addressed in a timely and constructive manner, promoting a supportive soccer community.
6. Safety and Well-being: Coaches will prioritize the safety and well-being of players during training, matches, and all soccer-related activities. Any injuries or health concerns will be addressed promptly and with appropriate care.
7. Continuous Learning: Coaches will engage in ongoing learning to stay updated on the latest coaching techniques, child development, and safety standards. Feedback from players, parents, and fellow coaches will be welcomed as opportunities for continuous improvement.
8. Compliance with Policies: Coaches will adhere to all club policies, including those related to conduct, safety, and player eligibility. Any concerns about policy compliance should be brought to the attention of the club's leadership.
9. Professionalism: Coaches will represent the club with professionalism and integrity, both on and off the field. Upholding a positive image for the club and the sport of soccer is essential.
By adhering to this Code of Conduct, we can collectively create a positive and respectful soccer community that fosters the growth and enjoyment of the sport. Thank you for your commitment to a safe and enriching soccer experience for all.
